Undeads are beings brought back to life with either the use of foul magic or by the whim of Shakir, the Lich Queen of Death. These undeads have no feelings other than hate towards the living which makes them always aggressive and dangerous.
It's common knowledge that a proper burial of corpses lowers the chance of them coming back to haunt their killers and other people. Undeads that raise due to being left unburied, are just weak minions of the Lich Queen, and usually turn to dust after a while.
Another case are the undeads of fallen heroes, mages and leaders of nations. The Lich Queen is known to have a huge interest on these individuals. Those who manage to be corrupted before their deaths, usually become highly ranked commanders for the Lich Queen.
In general, undeads are terrific foes. Not only are they stronger but they also posses horrific magic including curses and the ability to harm living creatures. Undeads are also known to be immune to poisons and psionic attacks. Some are even immune to other types of attacks. Caution should always be taken when fighting these horrific creatures.
The Order Of Dunedin, The Exorcists and The Order of Rose are sworn enemies of Undeads. Their Goddesses, Toharn and Avalonies are known to grant them extreme power to fight the undead horde.
