Who the hell is Lamex?
Lamex (also known as Lamexi also known as Suski and Suvi) is the leading developer of Gekkeiju Online and one of the founders of Coolhouse Productions. Lamex is also the highest ranking Archwizard in Gekkeiju Online.
Coding history
She started coding text games with her Commodore 64 when she was around 9-10 years old. When she got her first pc (Tandon 286) she moved to quickbasic 4.5 and made several small scale games with that. Her first real 3D game she made in 1999, it was called the Northern Light.
After finishing the Northern Light, Lamex started coding a 3D Mecha-simulation called Invader: The Annihilation. The game got ready in 2002 but was completely destroyed because of a hardware failure (and the lack of devotion to backuping stuff... which of course changed after that). After Invader, she first started working on a parody first-person-shooter but decided to drop that and start experimenting with the possibility of making an online roleplaying game. The Online RPG project got quite far and was named Gekkeiju Online. Ever since that she has been stuck with the project.
Career
Lamex has been actively working in an accounting company as a software and web developer since 1997. The applications she develops are related to accounting, invoicing and company resource management.
She has been studying in Helsinki University Department of Computer science since 2003 but is totally annoyed of all the "Linux-hippies" there. Because of this she is planning on getting into economics which are more related to her daily job (and where she "might actually learn something new").
Hobbies
Apart from coding of Gekkeiju Online, she does nordic walking, watches most new anime series as they get subbed, and listens to Asian music. She also considers sleeping as her hobby.
