Criminal is a player who has done something stupid like killed or attacked a player or pet in a guarded area.

Criminals can be killed by anyone at any area without having to worry about becoming criminal as well. Most guarded areas also have guard-npcs in the area. In such areas it's possible to simply say 'Guards' which will call the guard npcs to kill nearby criminal players.

When a criminal gets killed, he'll drop all items in his inventory and be teleported to jail. The jail time depends on the crime commited. The jail time goes forward only when staying online.
